I cannot stress this enough: The key to menswear is fit and proportion. If those two bits are off you can either look like a cow or a slob. Sometimes both!

I'm a huge fan of leather and if I could wear it year round I would. After seeing so many collections with full on leather ensembles I could not wait to feature them in fall editorials. Fleet Ilya x Comme des Garçons

For the men's spring 13 collections, Comme des Garçons collaborated with London based designers Fleet Ilya on a range of seven head pieces and tiaras for their spring collection. All seven styles were hand crafted in the United Kingdom and featured on all thirty-four looks presented in Paris and will be sold at all Comme des Garçons stores worldwide.

For those not familiar with Fleet Ilya on this side of the pond, they are a conceptual and cleverly utilitarian brand that produces leather goods for both men and women, as well as, a Restraint line of bondage luxury goods. You'll become just as obsessed as I am (peep the visors) and I'm totally looking forward in doing a massive pull and shooting these gorgeously clever made pieces.

Comme des Garçons

The Art of Packing by Louis Vuitton

Packing is truly an art form. As a stylist, I've had to learn the best and most effective way to pack and make sure everything fits, whether it is for me or if I'm packing samples for a shoot. 

Take a look at this vid and hopefully you'll learn a little something, I did! I never thought to pack shirts the way they did.

Paul Smith x John Lobb

Designer Paul Smith and boot-maker John Lobb have collaborated on three special edition shoes, which made their debut at the Paul Smith show in Paris on July 1st. They will be available on September 1, 2012 at John Lobb shops worldwide and at select Paul Smith shops.

They will be available in three styles: The Westbourne, an oxford, which features a punched toe with dyed to match laces, and the Willoughby, a plain vamp derby, which is offered in colorful cashmere suede. Both styles are fitted with shoes trees, stained and waxed in a lighter tone that compliments the hues of leather. The third style is the Lucca, a light and flexible loafer that is available in lightweight full-grained calf suede.


All three styles will be available in punctuation of color, which is a signature of Sir Paul Smith. Think Cherry Reds, Ocean Blues, Lapis, and Regal Purple to name a few. These shoes sounds like fun addition to any mans shoe collection and just in time for New York Fashion week!
