Gucci's HOME Film

"Anyone who watches this film will not fail to be deeply moved by the incredible imagery captured by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. It is a truly remarkable call to action for all us to play a part in protecting the planet for generations to come." -Frida Giannini

June 5th marks World Environment Day and in honor of that day a multi-platform cinematic movie entitled HOME will be released in cinemas, on television, on DVD and on the Internet in 14 different languages and in over 87 countries around the world. The environmental film was directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, produced by Luc Besson and funded by Gucci's parent company the PPR Group.

HOME explores the current state of the plant through beautiful aerial images filmed in more than fifty countries around the world. Its objective being the increased awareness of major environmental and social changes facing humankind.

Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini has designed a special limited edition T-shirt in honor of the film that will be sold at select Gucci stores worldwide from May 25. The tee was designed using 100% organic cotton and natural dyes in recyclable packaging. A white canvas bag with the HOME logo in gold accompanies the tee. They will be available in both men's and women's sizes prized at $195 with all profits donated to, a non-profit created by Yann Arthus- Bertrand in 2005.

I recommend looking at the amazing aerial images from the film. Visit
