Dror Benshetrit's Intricate Peacock Chair

When you unite a furniture manufacturer known for their cutting edge modern furniture and a hip New York designer known for his minimalist aesthetic with a quest to reflect transformation, motion and duality in his work- an intricate work of art is born. The Peacock Chair, designed by Dror Benshetrit for Cappellini Studio, is created out of three sheets of felt and a minimal metal frame. The looping folds of the felt are tightly woven to form a structured yet comfortable lounge chair, with no sewing or upholstery involved. The elaborate folding paired with the innovative method of structure creates this exquisite and luxurious chair, which is beautifully executed. The Peacock Chair is the perfect balance of modern and elegance.
